Scorpio - Summer 2007

GENERAL

The weird and the wonderful have been part and parcel of your stars for the past few months - the weird taking precedence over the wonderful! You'll experience less frustration with your plans from September onwards but you will still need your regular supply of patience pills during the summer. Two important periods lie ahead - late June/early July and 12th-21st August. The actual events will differ from Scorpio to Scorpio but it seems in order to get what you want a sacrifice must be made or some kind of rationalization has to be accomplished, which may involve letting go of a dream, and certainly unrealistic expectations. Some of the highlights of the summer include news of a birth and a controversy surrounding a friend or an organization.

LOVE

With Venus in pride of place from June through September you cannot blame your stars for a lacklustre love-life. All right, romance may be anything but smooth but at least it's not dull. Single and seeking Scorpios can expect to find love in high places, and with powerful individuals (the sign of Capricorn could figure too) while those in established liaisons should be investing time and energy in their partner. If, on the other hand, you're in a dead-end relationship the combined efforts of Neptune and Saturn will bring the situation to a head, either between the 24th July and 2nd August or from the 12th to 21st. Can I make a suggestion? Partners tend to be mirrors for us, and sometimes what we despise in another is what we need to come to terms with in ourselves...

WORK AND FINANCE

This has not been an easy nine months for work. Either too much has been expected of you and your health and private life have suffered as a consequence or there have been problems at the top (perhaps lack of sales) which have filtered down the line leading to cut-backs and fears for job security. And if you've been job-hunting, you've had more than your share of rejections. A positive attitude will help greatly here, and knowing your own value. Criticism (veiled or overt) will cease as the autumn gets under way and should a job come to an end, trust your astrologer, you'll find another. By contrast a buoyant Jupiter transit could have boosted finances already; if not, mid-June could produce a windfall. Property continues to be a good investment.

HOME AND LIFESTYLE

Home is a place of retreat from the pressures of work this summer, and hopefully you will be able to spend some time on or near water - that way you'll be bringing out the best of Neptune, rather than the worst, which may translate as problems with plumbing, and a degree of disorder on the home front. The periods of 24th - 30th July and mid and late August are ideal for long lazy days on the fjords but not so great for home renovations and large gatherings. The total lunar eclipse of the 28th August cuts across the creative axis of your chart and signals the end of a gestation period - followed, of course, by a birth of some description.
